IFS (internal family systems) therapy, either as self therapy using audio meditations and audio books or face to face with a therapist is ideal for healing wounded parts from childhood trauma. Trauma informed Art Therapy may also be beneficial for some people who do not wish to talk about their trauma. Using IFS as self therapy you also do not need to talk about it and can take your time as needed. It also is not exhausting or re-traumatising to do it.
